Your Beautiful

It says in Genesis 1:27, God created humanity in His image. God’s beauty is of a spiritual design. Just think you carry His breath, His creativity, His capacity for love and His capacity to reflect light in dark places. God looks at the heart. Spiritual design is a surrendered heart, a forgiving spirit, a teachable posture and integrity when no one is watching. This kind of beauty only deepens, your softness after surviving hardship is beautiful, your faith after disappointment is beautiful and your worship after tears is beautiful.

It’s also important for women to have a natural design. They should practice self-care regularly to maintain a healthy self-image, boost confidence and reduce stress.

Some tips on how women can practice self-care are:

  • Take care of your physical health such as exercise regularly, eat a balanced and health diet, drink plenty of water, get enough sleep, and go for regular check-ups with your doctor.

  • Practice mindfulness by setting aside some time each day. We should pray, meditate and practice deep breathing exercises. We are to engage in activities that promote relaxation and stress reduction.

  • You should pamper yourself, treat yourself to a luxurious spa day, a massage or a manicure and pedicure.

  • Engage in hobbies that bring you joy such as cooking, writing, dancing or etc.

  • Connect with other such as friends, family, join a social group or community or a support group.

  • Self-care is unique to each person and what works for one do not work for someone else. The most important thing is to prioritize self-care and make it a regular part of your routine.
