Know your Value and Worth
Genesis 1:27 “We were created in the image of God.”
Your value and worth is not about your ego it is about seeing yourself the way God sees you.
Your worth is not based on your past, your mistakes, your income, your relationship status or what people say about you. You have to know your life has purpose and value. One of the clearest pictures of your worth is the sacrifice of Christ Jesus.
In Romans 5:8 “ God demonstrated His love in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”'', meaning you were worth saving even in your broken state. The cross says you are worth pursuit, youare worth sacrifice and you are deeply loved.
1 Peter 2:9 “ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people…”, for you are called and chosen. You are not accidental, disposable, forgotten or replaceable.
When you know your value you don’t tolerate what dishonors the God in you. You don’t confuse attention with love. Your worth is not shrinking or striving, it is rooted in belonging to God.
Women are to cultivate a strong sense of self-worth and recognize their own unique strengths and talents. This can help them navigate the challenges they may face in their personal and professional lives and empower them to pursue their goals and dreams. Mentors and acountability partners are role models which can play a crucial role in helping women develop a positive self-image and belief in their own value. Encouraging them to try new things, providing positive feedback and recognition for their achievements, and helping them develop a growth mindset can all contribute to building their confidence and self-worth.
